Design the environment
I believe the job of a designer is to create a environment let everyone like it. The good design will help every keep in a good feeling and add the different element to the environment. The good designer need to learn how to communicate with other people to learn what they need. It can make the environment peaceful and beautiful.

Personal Mission Statement
I hope I can have a work I love to do. I hope to be a creative designer and understand the aesthetic. I want to make the world looks more beautiful. I except to live in a place full of beauty and romance .
I want to make a lot of friends and help them when they are in trouble.
I want to learn some languages, it will help me to make more friends from different culture. I'd love to be a translator to help more people become friends.

The chapter, And No Birds Sing, discuss the death of birds due to the DDT spray. She uses the research and study to support her statement. She lists some examples of different kinds of birds, such as robins and eagles. The author also elaborates what causes these birds death respectively. The first chapter puts forward the argument and the second chapter illustrates and demonstrates it.

What specific details stay in your mind? Why? How do these smaller details lead into larger ideas? The details that stay in my mind is the different kinds of proble the national parks met. Because the author use the vivid langueage to explain them and also I was shocked by the effect. He also use his own expericence in the text. The deeper idea in this text is call on everybody to protect our environment.
